Edinburgh is one of Europe’s most charming cities. The historically grown side by side of old and new town are UNESCO World Heritage Site for all the right reasons. The Market Street Hotel is located in the middle of this unique urban development landscape and has been integrated in a very smart manner.
The facade already reflects the architectural diversity of the Scottish capitol and combines classic sand stone with modern shapes. In its aesthetics, the interior also reflects the cultural richness of the city: Traditional fabrics and paid patterns meet minimal lines and contemporary interior design pieces.
The absolute highlight of the hotel is the roof terrace. It is an architectural enrichment of the skyline and offers guests a view of the surrounding UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The roof offers more than nice views: a champagne lounge and an open fire place.
