The informal and popular Izakayas are role models for the first Zum in London. Back then, Rainer Becker and Arjun Waney dared to bring this Japanese eating culture to Britain’s capital.  And achieved an international culinary conquering expedition.

After locations in Hong Kong, Dubai, Istanbul, Miami and many other large cities, Rome completes the dozen.  The location is a special treasure: they found a spot at the exclusive Palazzo Fendi.

Typical for the Zum, meals on the menu come from three kitchens: the main kitchen, the sushi counter and Robata grill. The latter is the heart of the restaurant. Guests can watch the chefs tame flames and beef.

In the interior, designer Noriyoshi Muramatsu staged the four elements: earth, fire, water and air.

Try to get a seat on the roof terrace. It offers a stunning view over the city.
