Berlin’s district Southeastern district Oberschöneweide used to be considered to be very boring. In the past years, it has been discovered by artists and creatives. Quite a few factory buildings in this formerly important industrial area have been turned into ateliers, galleries or cultural centers. The area also attracts film teams searching for industrial locations and the party scene looking for the newest pop-up club.
The club Weyde³ wants to become a permanent address in Berlin’s nightlife. The club hosts parties and concerts but also comedy shows, gallery openings and company events. An area furnished in 50s style with a arched glass front offering a great view onto the river Spree is called “Elektro-Café”.  The areas “Kubik” and “Forelle” with its aluminum panels radiate an industrial flair. The “Separee” with stage looks like a theater from the 20s.

The club’s brick building used to be part of a bearing plant.
