“I wanted to add the personality, comfort and aesthetic of a private home. I wanted guests to feel at home.” That is what architect David Thulstrup says about his project for which an old chimney (!) was turned into an apartment hotel that can be rented for 1000 Euro per night.
The spectacular interior, showcase of the Tipp company, combines soft color shades of grey and pink with dark accents such as purple and black. Glass arched doors with steel frames, customized terrazzo floors, a modern steel staircase and the open access to a private terrace are essential architectural highlights of the Vipp Chimney House that opened in the summer of 2019. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large open kitchen as well as dining and living rooms take up a space of only 200 square meters.
The ceiling height of the beautiful hotel’s atrium is 8,5 meters and enchants visitors with a view onto the top of the old chimney
