Lisbon

The changing history of a palace: The restoration of the Palacete de Santa Catarina started shortly after Lisbon’s earthquake in 1755. In 1910, Count Verride made it his home and in in 1990 it became a bank branch.

Now the antique palace has been restored and renovated and became a hotel. It features 19 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar with a panoramic terrace, a lounge and a breakfast area with winter garden and pool with a view of the city and the Tejo River.

The selected interior of the individual rooms is harmonious and underlines the value of the property. Neutral shades highlight coziness and warmth. Most of the furniture was designed exclusively for the hotel.

Wood and brass shape tables, consoles, chairs, details. Velvet and linen in soft shades assure comfort along with wool blankets and precise lighting.

The Suba bar is located on the top floor. Besides an incredible view of the city, it serves modern Portuguese cuisine.
