Café Restaurant
Mexico City

Rough with a soft touch: This already is the second Tori-Tori restaurant in the city. The first one was designed by the same architect in 2011 and convinces with a facade that seem to stem from a 3D printer.

With their new Tori-Tori project, architects Héctor Esrawe and Michel Rohkind offer guests an alternating bath of cave-like brutalism in the lower floor and a light-flooded upper floor with a free view onto the surrounding tree tops.

Michel Rohkind is one of Mexico’s most innovative architects. He has received many international awards – such as for his Nestlé Chocolate Museum.
