The Weekend wants people to feel like every day of the week is weekend – that is the philosophy of the design studio Derenko for the hotel in the 7th district. That is why they transferred the elements nature, time and ‘freedom feeling of the weekend’ into the hotel.
That can be recognized in the preferred materials like wood and stone or the pistachio and sage green furniture and curtains but also the wallpapered walls that depict decelerated nature.
The round shapes of the interior are supposed to underline the impression that the cohesive concept grew organically – boxy shapes were avoided as much as possible – just as in nature.
In greens so green: A city garden in the middle of the city bustle is hidden in the patio.
