The master mind behind the EDITION Hotels is none other than the legendary Studio 54-founder and boutique holte guru Ian Schrager. Over 30 years after he redefined the hotel scene with the Morgan hotel on New York’s Madison Avenue his concept of a seductively different hotel is more than alive: hotels that do not feel like hotels but rather than clubs, bars or private places, hotels in which guests mix with locals, hotels with a cool design.
Of course that also applies to the Shanghai EDITION: In two towers, the hotel combines 145 authentically designed rooms with restaurants, lounges, bars, studios and night clubs. And that in the middle of Shanghai’s exciting entertainment quarter directly at the famous “The Bund” board walk.
