Since December 2016, The Robey thrones high above the jazz and blues bars of the city, the cafés and boutiques of Chicago’s hip districts Wicker Park and Bucktown .
Originally built in 1929 as an office building, the prism shaped art-déco house with the nickname “Coyote Building” on the intersection of Damen, Milwaukee and North Avenue is now a design hotel.
The 69 rooms bow to past with vintage elements like herring bone parquet or separators of vitrified wire. Modern designs and art-déco originals round up the retro atmosphere.
On the roof terrace of the “UP & UP” bar on the 13th floor, the steel tip of the building is in reach.
