The new five star hotel is located in the historic Palácio da Anunciada that was erected in the 16th Century and that is a staple in the city’s history. Jaime Beriestain was the responsible interior designer. He designed each of the 83 rooms with neutral colors and noble materials such as natural wooden floors, Portuguese marble and traditional decor elements. Hand painted white and blue ceramics especially designed for the hotel provide a pleasant decoration.
The 2,500 square meter large gardens include the terrace of the O Jardim Wine Bar and a 100 year old dragon tree
