The Co-Working-Trend flipped the working habits of Singapore’s inhabitants upside down. “The Great Room” aims to also change the way work feels.

“When you step into a well designed hotel lobby, it feels different than a stiff, grey office”, says CEO Jaelle Ang. The objective of her co-working space: People should feel like they are in an exclusive ambience, as if they are about to sign an important contract or are about to experience a life changing business meeting.

With the interior designers of the Distillery Studios she chose hotel specialists to design the 1,400 square meter large project. The studio already worked on the Manhattan Bar in the Regent Hotel and the Club Hotel – both in Singapore. For working space expertise, they involved the office designers von Hassell.

Visitors of the city can use the rooms to work for 70 Singapore Dollars per day.
