Built in 1926, this landmark boutique hotel is a study in Spanish Colonial Revival architecture, where white stucco walls, terracotta rooflines, and wrought-iron details create a language that feels both romantic and enduring. But it’s within the interiors—and the way they unfold—that the property truly comes into its own.

The layout is almost cinematic: a sequence of lush, enclosed courtyards that act as the hotel’s living rooms. These green pockets—dense with tropical planting—soften the geometry of the architecture and blur the boundary between inside and out. Light filters through foliage, casting shifting shadows across tiled pathways and quiet seating areas, while the central pool sits like a calm, reflective pause at the heart of it all.

Inside, the design resists excess. Instead, it leans into a layered, residential sensibility—one that feels curated rather than staged. The 80 rooms and suites echo this approach: soft, coastal palettes meet dark wood accents; crisp linens contrast with textured fabrics; and every space feels intentionally proportioned for both retreat and function. Desks and high-speed Wi-Fi are seamlessly integrated, acknowledging the growing rhythm of long stays and blended travel without disrupting the sense of escape.

What sets the interiors apart is their restraint. There’s no need for spectacle when the architecture already carries so much presence. Instead, furnishings are chosen for comfort and quiet elegance, allowing the surrounding courtyards and natural light to take the lead. It’s a design philosophy that feels almost European in its understatement—yet entirely at home in Palm Beach.

Public spaces extend this narrative. The Frédéric Fekkai salon introduces a polished, contemporary layer, while the fitness center and complimentary bicycles offer a more casual, lived-in connection to the destination. And then there’s the hotel’s private yacht, BC One—less an amenity than an extension of the property’s ethos: discreet luxury, experienced at your own pace.

This place is about preservation, refinement, and the subtle art of knowing when to let the setting speak for itself.
