German Templars built their own colony north-east of Jaffa in the 19th century. Today, the district with its protected historic buildings is a magnet for the fashion scene. During Tel Aviv’s fashion week fashionistas pilgrimage to these holy streets.
The reason: after the renovation for Tel Aviv’s 100th birthday more and more boutiques and concept stores opened their doors here. One of them is Israel’s fashion label :story’s flagship store. A former wine cellar of the Templars sets the stage for fashion and furniture – from airy summer dresses to Scandinavian design sofas.
Wine still plays a central role here in the former wine cellar of the building and the Jajo Wine Bar.
