From the business room to the suite: The 305 rooms of this landmarked hotel are all outfitted in modern style. This can be recognized in the straightforward furniture, trendy photo art by Cologne’s artist Kyrill Koval and design classics such as the much-loved “Eames Plastic Armchairs” by Vitra in the rooms or the iconic “CH07 Shell Chairs” by Carl Hansen & Son in the lobby.
The hotel which opened in 2016 is located in a former 60s office building. Cologne’s interior design studio May Konzepte focused on preserving the original character of the building. Large windows in the lobby, bar and rooms enables a view of the cathedral.
The day was stressful? The wellness area has the perfect answer: two Finnish saunas and a fitness room with cardio equipment. Massages can even be booked in the hotel rooms.
