Named after the celestial body sun, the restaurant from Michelin-starred duo Adam Dahlberg and Albin Wessman shines in the suburban Slakthusområdet, Stockholm’s former slaughterhouse district.
The interior design playfully explores the cosmic order of the planets and the sun: The walls are arranged around a central fireplace, similar to the orbits in space, and the wall colors capture the light. This gives the room a dynamic structure and simultaneously evokes the protective aspects of the sun. Simple pine furniture creates a feeling of lightness, perfectly complemented by warming dishes.
The bar is made of stainless steel, the fireplaces and the water station are made of roughly hewn granite.
