Originally built in the 30s as an office building, the Bungehuis with its striking architecture is still a landmark today. The functionalism building inspired the design team of the Soho House Group when designing Amsterdam’s hotel: The wall paneling of the Member Area on the fifth floor lean on building facets, a mix of vintage furniture and custom made pieces create a relaxing atmosphere. The Soho House in the Spuistraat has 79 rooms of different sizes; the Monumental Rooms on the first floor await guests with thoroughly restored tiles, Art-Déco lamps, wall panels from the 30s and free standing copper bath tubs that provide relaxation at the end of a day in the city.

The House Gym on the fourth floor features Technogym equipment and further offers. HIIT and Yoga classes. The shiny green ceiling color reflects the colors of the town canals outside.
