Dolce Vita meets Savoir-vivre! The Sofitel Rome Villa Borghese – that re-opened its doors in the heart of the Italian capitol in June 2019 after a comprehensive redesign – unites Italian charm with French flair. The new design was created by Jean-Philippe Nuel and definitely heightens the life experience in the hotel located in a former Roman palazzo.

For example, the new guest rooms are adorned with expertly created ceiling paintings that give the illusion of a canopy. The lobby combines classic and contemporary to a stylish ambience and sets striking color accents at the same time. The Settimo, an elegant roof terrace lounge and an Italian gourmet restaurant, is a special highlight that not only offers panoramic views of the Eternal City but also feels like a garden oasis with its lush green interior.

A special ritual is celebrated at sundown: large candles are lit in front of the hotel’s entrance in order to welcome guests along with atmospheric music.
