It was really a matter of time until the stylish hotel chain SO/ opened their first house in Paris. It happened in the summer of 2022: the brand give its debut in the French capital. The hotel is located in the “Morland Mixité Capitale” – an award-winning building complex in the fourth Arrondissement, re-designed, among others, by star architect David Chipperfield. The complex further features stores, a hostel, a food market, an art gallery, a bar and a restaurant.
The rooms and suites of the hotel offer a stunning view over the roofs of Paris. The design studio RDAI was responsible for the design that focuses on bold colors and natural materials like leather or wood. While some agile furniture elements underline the urban character of the hotel, mosaics in the bed- and bathrooms assure a classic decor.
