Sir Savigny is the imaginary host of this hotel. A charming, well travelled aristocrat and a brilliant story teller. In the hotel located in West-Berlin’s Savignyplatz, he talks about his passion for art, music, literature and good food. Amsterdam’s designer Saar Zafrir designed the 44 rooms and suites accordingly. They are kept in dark grey, blue and green colors and furnished elegantly with rich velvet fabrics and leather.
The prize winning design studio Baranowitz + Kronenbergfrom Tel Aviv show their sensible work in the public areas. They stage the winter garden with fire place, the view of the hotel’s garden and library with its long table for collective dinners like the home of an indulgent cosmopolitan.
“The Butcher” burger bar is part of the merging areas. You can enjoy finest fast food there: from Aberdeen-Angus cheeseburger to truffled French fries with poached egg.
