The picturesque view over Stockholm’s islands and waterways has always been a hallmark of the Scandic Södra Kajen, located in the Värtahamnen district. Following extensive renovations, the hotel now also presents itself as an ambitious hub for social interaction.

As part of a larger urban development project, the Scandic Södra Kajen, with its 323 modernly designed rooms and spacious public areas on floors 1, 3, and 17, offers ample space for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The wellness area on the top floor seamlessly blends with the surrounding cityscape thanks to its magnificent window front. With a climbing wall and similar amenities, the hotel is popular with active travelers and also pursues a sustainable building agenda. This is evidenced, not least, by its BREEAM certification.

This certification underpins Scandic’s commitment to environmental protection and social responsibility with concrete evidence: entire sections of the room furnishings are eco-certified, while others are made from recycled materials sourced from Sweden, guaranteeing a lifespan of up to 15 years.

Large trees in planters complete the greenery of the outdoor terrace.
