The hotel that opened in June 2019 is a true architectural highlight on the Westside of Los Angeles. Located in the center of Santa Monica and only a few blocks away from the the lovely beaches of California’s Pacific coast, the hotel stretches across two and connects a building from 1928 in Spanish colonial style with a modern, monolithic building via a bridge.
Less sensational yet very compelling, the interior convinces with subtle elegance. The unobtrusive design, inspired by the colors of the Pacific coast, delights with raw materials like wood and stone as well as natural textiles. Matching the casual lifestyle of L.A., the rooms also feature a varied collection of vintage elements and contemporary furniture.
In case L.A. should get too hectic, the hotel’s Surya Spa will assure physical and emotional wellbeing with individual Ayurvedic treatments starting in November 2019.
