Café Restaurant
San Francisco

Rooh wants to raise the awareness of Indian cuisine internationally – and that in an unseen manner. The first branch of the Good Times Restaurant Group outside of Asia focuses on modern cooking techniques combined with the tradition of 2,000 years of Indian cuisine.

In that sense, the interior also breaks with the stereotypes of an Indian restaurant. The bright colors of India – among them of course curry yellow – radiate along teal seats and an ultra-marine bar counter. Patterned tiles and golden curtains relax the atmosphere further.

According to the US gastronomic web site Thrillist, the Rooh is one of the best twelve new openings in San Francisco in 2018.
