Bar
Ljubljana

The combination of bar, café and restaurant was developed by Slovenian AKSL Architekten iin collaboration with designer Teja Ideja.

The name Robba is well known in Ljubljana. It refers to the Venetian sculptor Francesco Robba, who created the fountain of the Three Krainer Rivers in the 18th Century.

While the original is located at the Slovenian National Gallery, a copy is placed at a square next to the Bar Robba.

The baroque motives typical for Robba’s fountain are mirrored in the interior design of the bar – over 1200 triangular elements made of OSB decorate floors and walls.

The bar is good for many purposes. No matter whether it is to sip a strong coffee, to have a quick lunch with colleagues or to have a romantic candlelight dinner – Robba covers it all. The excellent cocktails are also worth mentioning.
