Cheng Chung Design’s vision for the Regent Shanghai on the Bund: each of the 135 light-filled guest rooms and each of the twenty luxurious suites with private balconies is designed to bring the outdoors in and offer breathtaking views of the Shanghai and Pudong skyline. Historical elements blend with modern Chinese aesthetics. At the same time, guests find themselves in a floral wonderland with artistic arrangements of fresh flowers throughout the hotel, with a hanging garden and, in the Jin Lin restaurant, under a ceiling of cascading red glass and acrylic flowers.
The hotel is distinguished by its unique location on the first S-shaped bend of the Huangpu River, overlooking the historic Bund and the famous skyscrapers of Pudong.
