You truly cannot tell the age of the patriarchal Radisson Blu Strand Hotel! Not surprising as the hotel icon, opened for the Summer Olympics in 1912, was re-designed and now radiates in a new light.
This Stockholm hotel always stood for joy and pleasure; a feeling that the makers definitely wanted to keep. At the same time, the design the design was also supposed to reflect the changed demands regarding a contemporary lifestyle hotel.
A team of renowned Swedish architects and designers implemented this plan. And when you enter the new lobby or the re-designed restaurant – and especially the renovated rooms and suites – this becomes obvious. The plan succeeded!
The Sea Salon Suite! Greta Garbo and Ingrid Bergman already spent their nights in Stockholm here.
