To mark its 20th anniversary, the three-star restaurant Quince, located in the historic Jackson Square district, underwent a long-overdue complete renovation. And it was an ambitious one: the dining room was opened up so that more daylight can now fall on the natural colors and oak parquet flooring. The number of seats for fine dining was reduced to 36, and a lounge area for smaller meals and a bar were added. The bar is not located near the entrance, as is common in many places, but is reached via a corridor lined with local plants.
A mural by French artist Galatée Martin lines the bar area.
