Ian Schrager did it again: After his New York hotels Morgans, Royalton Hotel, Paramount Hotel, Hudson, Gramercy Park Hotel and Edition, he planned a new place with the PUBLIC. Opening: June 2017.
The hotel offers a broad gastronomic concept. The Public Kitchen with the Bowery Garden is at the core. Chef Jean-Georges Vorgerichten works on New York dishes with a focus on health and wellness at a long marble counter – behind which you see open fire in smokers and grills. All cultural influences of the melting pot are integrated into his creations.
The adjacent Bowery Garden was inspired by the Tuileries in Paris as well as Italian gardens.The European flair is framed by British ivy.
The bar in the Bowery Garden is the perfect spot for a night-cap.
