At the end of 2022, the gastronomic power couple Emilio and Åsa Ingrosso opened their third restaurant in Stockholm. In short: He’s a chef, she’s an interior designer, and Omino is a true passion project for both of them. The menu enriches classic Italian cuisine with Swedish touches, creating an exciting culinary fusion.
In collaboration with architects Melkart Afram of Inprove, the couple realized an elegant ensemble of black, white, and gray tones, with cleverly placed glass elements allowing for both spatial separation and an open, inviting ambiance. An elegant wine cabinet complements the design, lending the restaurant a touch of sensuality.
Omino means “little man” in Italian. In Stockholm, it represents inviting freshness and vibrancy!
To conclude the evening, the Omino waiter indulges in a nice gag: The bill is then served in a small metal pig.
