Nobu Hotel Shoreditch

luxurious. informal. dignified. fine.
Hotel
London

20 years after star chef Nobuyuki “Nobu” Matsuhisa and actor Robert de Niro opened their first Nobu restaurant in New York, the idea turned into a hotel in 2013  – in Las Vegas.

Four years later, the first European branch of the small but fine chain opened in Shoreditch. Even though it is a luxury hotel, the 150 rooms and suites are intended to spread an informal atmosphere. And that is good. The London district already went through a radical change in the past years.

The former meeting point for insiders and alternatives was increasingly commercialized. As an answer to the raw, creative of East-London, the design focuses on luxurious understatement.

Each of the seven suites received a complete individual design by the designers of Studio Mica.
