Café Restaurant
Milan

Just around the corner of the Fondazione Prada, you can find the  Nishiki restaurant by chef Xiaobo Zhou and his wife Alessandra Hu – that has been one of Milano’s hotspots for Japanese fusion cuisine for a while.

Since its shapely facelift by the team of NAOS Design, the walls have been colored by the Pantone color “Shaded Spruce” – a dark blue with a touch of green that reminds Xiaobo Zhou of a lake from his childhood.

Muted light and a matching color palette make the restaurant a prime example for elegance paired with heightened comfort.

Those who like it authentically are recommended to check out the hidden dining area behind the curtains. Here you can dine in a traditional Japanese manner on Tatami mats.
