Two colors dominate the Greek island Mykonos: blue and white. The Myconian Kyma Hotel continues this traditional color code – to follow the omnipresent sea water of the Aegean Sea and the white cubistic local architecture.
So far, so classic. Architect Galal Mahmoud, working from Beirut and Abu Dhabi, set its focus on contemporary lightness. A modern material mix of marble, glass, light wood and stone meets pastel accents and slim shapes. A touch of 60s aesthetics spreads a magic feeling of timeless comfort.
