Vondom My Otel North Coast

At My ŌTEL North Coast, the Mediterranean is never far away, but it is not the only thing that shapes the experience. Beyond the white façades and the blue horizon, the hotel reveals a more layered design language—one that moves between coastal calm and urban sophistication, pairing a pared-back architectural sensibility with curated art, bespoke details, and technology designed to disappear into the experience.

Located on Egypt’s North Coast, My ŌTEL is conceived as a contemporary boutique retreat where the boundary between inside and out is deliberately softened. The palette is luminous and restrained, allowing daylight, water, and views of the sea to become part of the interior composition. Rather than filling spaces with ornament, the design relies on proportion, texture, and carefully selected details to create an atmosphere that feels polished without becoming formal.

The rooms and suites are central to this sense of quiet luxury. Generously sized, they are designed around openness and connection to the landscape, with balconies or terraces framing views of the pool and Mediterranean. The larger accommodations extend the feeling of a private residence, with separate living areas and generous proportions that encourage guests to settle in rather than simply pass through. In the suites, the interior becomes a stage for the view: architecture and furnishings are arranged to keep the eye moving outward, toward the water and the ever-changing light.

Across the property, the interiors appear to balance softness with precision. The lobby and reception establish a contemporary sense of arrival, while spaces such as the business lounge and the hotel’s dining venues introduce different moods within the same visual world. Curated art and bespoke touches add personality, ensuring that the atmosphere does not feel generic or overly resort-like. The result is a hotel that understands modern luxury as a matter of editing: fewer distractions, stronger gestures, and an emphasis on how a space feels at different times of day.

Outside, the same design philosophy continues across terraces, pool decks, and dining areas. Here, Vondom furniture becomes part of the broader architectural vocabulary. Ramón Esteve’s Vineyard daybeds introduce sculptural structures of shade beside the water, while his Faz sun loungers bring a crisp, faceted geometry to the poolside. Eugeni Quitllet’s Africa collection adds a softer, more fluid note, extending into dining and terrace areas with chairs, armchairs, and loungers that balance comfort with a distinctly contemporary silhouette.

The design does not compete with the Mediterranean, but frames it.
