Moriki

borderless. fabulous. respectful. holistic.
Café Restaurant
Frankfurt

A Japanese saying states: “If you raise your view, you shall see no borders.” The makers of Frankfurt’s restaurant moriki seem to have done just that. Because the contemporary pan-Asian crossover cuisine of Berlin’s gastronome Duc Ngo knows no borders.

“mori” stands for forest, “ki” for the life’s universal energy. The latter characterizes Ngo’s  proximity to nature and integrated interpretation of pan-Asian crossover. A conscious use of premium and pure ingredients as well as the respect for the work of producers flow into the attentively prepared sushi rolls and other meals such as Sake Teriyaki and Miso Duck.

International border crossers are delighted. Even the New York Times has come to test and found moriki to be one of the “25 Places to go“.
