Mondrian London

Hotel
London

The Sea Container Building by the Thames is finally being used as a hotel, which was the original intention of architect Warren Platner. After being an office building for many years, at least part of it have now become a design hotel. The designers of Design Research Studio chose the theme seafaring and furnished the rooms as cozy cabins. They also kept the typical Tom Dixon style with a special focus on lighting and an extensive use of brass.

The hotel bar resembles a typical Gentlemen’s bar – with long counters, heavy chairs and dark leather.
