It was supposed to be a relaxed, casual pasta restaurant. And that’s exactly what it is. Because Nicola Fanetti is from Italy and Ursula Waltemath is from Brazil, it was important to the owners that the interior also conveyed a lot of southern warmth.
This southern flair and the general friendliness now contribute to the almost homely atmosphere. The colors red and yellow set the tone and, in combination with many light wood elements, create a cozy atmosphere. The sustainability aspect is not neglected either:
the wood and leather used are certified, and some of the furniture has been recycled – such as the bench frame and the oval steel base of the bar. In keeping with the southern tradition, the signature pasta dishes are placed in the middle of the table and shared.
The Pasta Lab window allows you to watch the chefs preparing pasta here.
