The bar in the lobby of the ME London hotel is full of curves and circles and sticks to shades of creme, grey and dark brown. It features three zones: an oval bar counter, a library with low shelving, candles, magazines and comfy seats and a central lounge with sofas. A fire place is the center piece of the room. It has a 200 kilo heavy marble slice. Every room is lit by chandelliers and light circles. Many of these, as well as many furnishings, were designed by Foster + Partners.
Special Tips
The Marconi Lounge Bar was named after Guglielmo Marconi, the inventor of the radio because his former house is located right next to the hotel.
