Vienna has long seduced travelers with its blend of imperial grandeur and avant-garde creativity, and now the city welcomes a new stage for both. Tucked into the quiet Riemergasse in the historic First District, the hotel inhabits a restored 1908 Art Nouveau courthouse by Alfred Keller—its striking heritage carefully preserved, then reimagined with modern finesse. The result is a sanctuary that feels at once timeless and contemporary, pairing the brand’s understated luxury and legendary service with Vienna’s cultural soul.

Inside, 86 guestrooms and 52 suites balance clean lines, soft light, and elegant materials with Jugendstil details; the three Mandarin Signature Suites and the Royal Suite offer the pinnacle of discreet opulence. Beyond the rooms, a dramatic ballroom and seven flexible salons echo the city’s spirit of gathering and celebration.

Dining is led by Executive Chef Thomas Seifried, who unveils four distinct concepts: Le Sept, a refined seafood restaurant with French and Asian influences; Atelier 7 – Brasserie, an all-day space alive with Viennese and global flavors; Atelier 7 – The Café, a modern homage to the city’s coffeehouse tradition; and Atelier 7 – Izakaya and Bar, where Japonisme meets Jugendstil over cocktails.

Wellness seekers will find refuge at The Spa at Mandarin Oriental, with seven serene treatment rooms, an indoor pool, and therapies inspired both by global rituals and local traditions.

Heritage meets hospitality, and Vienna gains a new address that feels both like a retreat and a rendezvous.
