Milan

The architecture studio Piuarch already transformed the Caproni-Headquarter Via Mecenate into the hip Gucci-Hub – a further project in the East of Milano is the hotel M-89.

The architecture of the project shows strong references to the industrial surroundings of the area – a broad glass wall with a metal grid in the ground floor plays with the shape language of factory buildings.

The color concept of the house is based on the contrasts between white, charcoal, green and nut wood. It is complimented by a selection of mid-century furniture in combination with contemporary designs.

Special Tips

The Gucci-Hub, the new headquarter of the traditional Italian label, is located right across from the hotel. The roof structure of the former airplane plant was mirrored in the hotel M-89.
