The restaurants and hotels by Rudi Kull and Albert Weizierl are spread across Munich’s inner city. The Hotel Louis at the Viktualienmarkt enjoys an especially exclusive location. Of course this exposed place brings along a high degree of responsibility in its design.
Kull and Weinzierl went for a contemporary design with soul. Honest materials such as the massive oak floors are intended to develop patina with time and become more and more beautiful. Ehrliche Materialien wie der massive Eichenhirnholzboden sollen im The same applies to the natural leather of the seat cussions, the natural stone in the bath and the bronze mounting on the doors.
Every piece of furniture was designed and manufactured exclusively for the hotel – from the lamps, to the beds to the tables.
Special Tips
The close by Viktualienmarkt offers some international delicacies but mainly the opportunity to discover local and regional products.
