Lidkoeb

Bar
Copenhagen

The Lidkoeb bar is located in the atrium of the Vesterbrogade in a three-story building that was built in 1886 by pharmacist H. P. Madsen. For more than a 100 years, this building was the production site for medicine. Then it was used for different purposes until it was neglected and finally re-discovered by bar owner Rasmus Shepherd-Lomborg who renovated the building with a lot of attention for detail. Today, you can enjoy cocktail creation on the two lower floors. The upper floor is all about Whiskey enjoyment. The interior is a stylish mix of Danish design and vintage pieces with lots of wood, leather and fut. During the winter you can take a seat at the fire place in one of the comfy Spanish Chairs by designer Børge Mogensen. In the summer, the atrium is the place to hang out.

Special Tips

If the Lidkoeb is full, you can try your luck in the sister bar Ruby.
