This traditional hotel opened over 100 years ago at the shore of the Zürichsees and was renovated in 2019. Owner Michel Reybier commissioned star designer Philippe Starck, whose artsy rebellious style is always surprising, for this endeavor.
The timeless yet eclectic look and feel focuses on sophisticated simplicity. Staeck especially succeeded to preserve the spirit of the hotel – except that it now looks like an elegant yacht club.
Two restaurants make the choice hard: Besides the La Muña on the roof that offers great views of lake and mountains, the Eden Kitchen & Bar invites on the ground floor
