Interior designer Robbyn Carter describes the Kimpton Qiantan Shanghai, which he designed and which is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, as “a place where guests, creators, dreamers, and visionaries come together.” Semi-transparent curtains divide the public areas, while soft carpets and open fireplaces create a cozy living room atmosphere. Metal-framed windows serve as connecting points between individual rooms and allow natural light to flood in.
The heated rooftop infinity pool offers endless panoramic views of Shanghai.
