Since January 2018 the Bikini Berlin offers international nibbles: Since then, a food market named Kantini is part of the trendy concept shopping mall located between the zoo and the Gedächtniskirche and features an exciting culinary variety.
All in all, thirteen food counters serve trendy snacks from ten countries, among them exciting street food from Hawaii and South Africa. The culinary spectacle takes place in an 1,800 square meter large area that was developed under the lead of star designer Werner Aisslinger.
Aisslinger’s concept is casual and humorous: he and his team created an exceptional colorful design landscape that promises joy of life and indulgence. California’s sunny spirit can be felt everywhere, mainly due to the fact that David Hockney’s visual world and Palm Springs’ plant world served as a source of inspiration for the designers.
The light-flooded loggia with its huge panoramic window towards Berlin’s Zoo is an especially nice spot.
