A declaration of love to Tel Aviv in the middle of Berlin. The JOSEPH celebrates the sensorial experience, hustle and tastes of the Israeli city with a charme that touches all hearts.

Aromas of meat, fish, seafood from the robata grill meet those of fresh vegetables and baked bread from the Tandoori oven in this culinary melting pot. The expertise of Israeli top chef Yossi Elad pairs up with the approach of Frankfurt’s hip gastronomers James & David Ardinast as well as the heart of the main protagonists and owners, the German-Jewish couple Mirit und Ariel Schiff.

At the counter of the open show kitchen, things are as hustling as on Tel Aviv’s Shuk Ha’Camel market and the huge black and white foto collage brings in the vibe of the popular Lala Beach. Eating here is a joint experience and is shared. Do not be surprised to get to know people sitting on the table next to you.

Natural material such as German leather, massive oak and dark Emperador marble as well as sandy and earthy tones spread a Tel Aviv flair.
