This modern hotel features over 165 rooms on 20 floors that can be found in Slovenia’s second highest building, a tower-like glass and steel construction. The design theme is: maximal pronunciation of regional accents. A view onto the facade construction with folkloristic Slovenian motifs reveals that. Munich’s interior designers Keith and Sonja Wright from wrightassociates also introduced abstracted topographic details of Ljubljana: rugs inspired by the  Ljubljanica river and its reflection and that radiate dusty and soft grey shades. Photographs of architectural city sites add to that.  The art in the rooms show graphics of known landmarks. Further hints of Ljubljana can be found in the public areas, whether it is an braced skyline or a map of the Tivoli park. The lobby café on the ground floor, a wellness center with sauna, a fitness area as well as a pool with a view onto the city and a roof terrace restaurant round off the offer.

Bees and bugs inspired the look of the B-Restaurant. Gam Frateti’s “Beetle” chairs by GUBI  that quote the hard shell of insects fit that.
