The former landlord of the building is name giver of the hotel. Frantz Bock had the house built in 1647 on the Södermalm island. Reason enough for Gothenburg’s Spik Studio’s design team to integrate the lifestyle and the era of the dressmaker into the contemporary interior of the 48 individually designed rooms.
In his generous townhouse, Frantz Bock welcomed friends, muses and customers. His hospitality is still being celebrated in the freshly renovated house. The interior is customized and influenced by styles from Berlin, New York and Stockholm.
The Södermalm region around the hotel has developed into a creative trend quarter in the last 15 years. Those who stay here are close to hip nightlife and lifestyle addresses
