Those who payed attention in their physics class will be stratled by the name EMC2  – what was that again!? Correct: Albert Einstein’s famous equation E = mc². And indeed the name is concept here: inspired by Einstein’s Relativity Theory, the entire hotel in Chicago follows the theme “Art meets Science”.

The world of art and science already meet on dramatic hotel facade featuring steal elements in three colors in isometric shapes. The playful science continues in the lobby: a two story high assembly of freely stacked book shelves awaits visitors, who will likely wonder if ‘E’ really equals ‘mc²’.
