Hôtel de Crillon

The guest book of this dignified house includes names such as Igor Strawinsky, Peggy Guggenheim and Sophia Loren. After closing for four years of renovation, the palace, in which Marie Antoinette already played the piano, re-opened its doors in the summer of 2017.

Besides architect Richard Martinet and four designers, an army of craftspeople were busy to find the coherent mix of historic substance and contemporary interior. The pool is totally new. Its walls are adorned by 18,000 mosaic tiles.
