Zurich’s gastronomy scene has a rising star. The second restaurant of the Elif Oskan and Markus Stöckle duo puts Oskan’s Turkish homeland in the center of the gastronomic concept.
Tradition and modern accents also shape the interior design. That is proven by the use of classic materials such as copper and the blue Iznik tiles that give the Turkish restaurant Zeitgeist.
The connection of the open kitchen with classic Ocakbasi (charcoal grill) and wood stove with the guest room contributes to the lively, familiar atmosphere. In the summer, the restaurant is extended with an inviting tea garden towards the patio.
Thanks to copper and Turkish marble, some of the seats in the bar zone remind of the waiting benches in Istanbul’s train station
