Stockholm’s Note Design Studio’s first hotel project solely targets a clientele traveling alone.
“We imagined how the tired business traveler who is on the road 150 days a year steps out of a taxi from the airport on a rainy November evening. We created a hotel for them that does not feel cool or luxurious but radiates the feeling of being well kept,” explains architect Jesper Mellgren from Note.
Guests are received by an inviting transparent entry hall with bold warm colors, tactile natural materials and lots of green.
The hotel’s restaurant Norobata offers Japanese fusion cuisine and practices Robatayaki. That is a special cooking method in which meals are prepared in different speeds over hot coal. A culinary highlight.
